As StretchMetal sets its sights on formalizing our nonprofit status, we're thrilled to announce two groundbreaking opportunities to join our team – the roles of Secretary and Treasurer. If you're passionate about our mission to foster ambient and genre-bending artists nationwide and want to play a foundational role in shaping StretchMetal's future, we invite you to apply for these unique positions.
Position: Board Secretary

Role Overview:
As the first Secretary at StretchMetal, you'll be instrumental in establishing effective communication processes within the organization. Your responsibilities will include:

Record-keeping for meetings, decisions, and official documents.

Managing and distributing meeting agendas and minutes.

Coordinating communication among board members.

Enthusiasm for contributing to the early days of StretchMetal.

Position: Board Treasurer
Role Overview:
As the inaugural Treasurer, you'll be the financial leader for StretchMetal, shaping our fiscal direction from the very beginning. Your responsibilities will include:

Budget management and financial reporting.

Working closely with the board on financial planning.

Ensuring compliance with nonprofit financial regulations.

Qualifications:

Financial expertise or a background in finance.

Familiarity with nonprofit financial management.

Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Time Commitment and Future Opportunities
The time commitment for these roles will be determined by the individuals selected, with an estimated 3-6 meetings per year for three years with 5-10 hours per month. Additionally, once these roles are established, there will be an opportunity to apply for Board member positions.
