Kouroush is the ambient music outfit of Ian Mahanpour, a Chicago-based writer, scholar, and musician. His instrumental improvisations ebb and flow within generative electronic soundscapes whose vague telos strives to align the visceral with broader environmental awareness.
Dominic Voz is an artist and social worker based out of Chicago, IL. He has been producing experimental sounds for over 15 years under various monikers.
Cinchel, a Chicago-based musician, works with guitar, effects, and laptop to create abstract ambient music that is both minimal and dense. Their main focus is the interaction of sounds/notes with themselves. With only the use of delay, layering, and distortion, they attempt to make a lot of guitars no longer sound like guitars. They like to call this minimal dense music for that reason.
