SUSTAIN THE DRONE 2025 (12).png

Helping StretchMetal and the Atmospheric Music Alliance sustain ambient artists and programs in the year ahead.

Sustain the Drone is StretchMetal's annual fundraiser that keeps StretchMetal and AMA running for the year ahead.

StretchMetal is a community supported project. As a budding nonprofit organization in what to many outside our beautiful world is still considered a niche field, there’s no major corporate or institutional backing behind us. Individual support makes up about 60% of our yearly budget. These donations help us pay artists, rent spaces, create new record releases, and support emerging ambient artists and dedicated listening spaces.
